Arsenal Xtreme: The Premium Arsenal Site

We will be moving to a new stadium at Ashburton Grove in 2005 but we will be leaving a great stadium, Highbury. We've had countless memories at Highbury and this great stadium will not easily be forgotten by Gunners...this is where the legendary Herbert Chapman made Arsenal famous and where Britain's biggest club library is situated.

However, we have to move on and a capacity of almost 39,000 isn't enough for a big club like ours and with crappy White Hart Lane lying close to Highbury gates we could'nt expand our great stadium. The new stadium, which is currently being constructed, will hold over 60,000 fans and will be a fitting replacement for arguably the greatest stadium in Britain.

Example: [Found on the Internet May 2000] Come on you Gooners. I'm a West Ham fan, but I'd rather anyone won the Championship than United.

Origins: Whilst on the surface, this might seem a reasonable opinion, United are not the most hated team. That honour goes to Tottenham Hotspur. The bile felt by most Arsenal fans when asked to comment on the most pathetic bunch of also ran charlatans ever to (dis)grace the English League with their girly style of football and their "ooh, we're so great because we nearly qualified for Europe this year" and their crap celebrations of victories over Arsenal by other teams because they have nothing of their own to celebrate, is real hatred. [Calm down! Ed] Whilst many fans up and down the country dislike Manchester United; dislike times 54,000,000 against hatred time 1,000,000 is no contest!

THIERRY Henry has finally established himself as the best striker in the planet. 5 goals in 2 games showed that and the hatrick against Roma has sent shock waves all around Europe. He is as loyal as any Gunner and would never leave us, unlike Anelka who betrayed us and is merely a snobby schoolboy compared to Henry. Thierry is going to put pen to paper on a new contract and these are one of the best times in Arsenal history. We are in a roll and this current side is one of the best ever squads in world soccer. Our pace and determination can rip apart any side and with our tactical brilliance we are a fearsome sight to behold. All thanks to David Dein who brought one of the greatest ever Arsenal managers, Arsene Wenger here. Come to think of it, we've always had great managers starting with Herbert Chapman and Tom Whitkaker to Bertie Mee and George Graham. But Wenger has turned us into an internationally renowned club and that is, in my opinion the best.
