:::TRANSFER RUMOUR MILL:::

Servette centre-back Philippe Senderos will join Arsenal at the end of the season, both clubs confirmed on Friday.
Senderos, who turns 18 next month, will move to Highbury from the Swiss club on 1 June after agreeing terms with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Senderos, who has been a regular for Servette this term, is out of contract at the end of the season.

But Servette president Christian Luescher said "a (financial) agreement was made between the three parties", adding that the deal had been agreed for three months.

Speaking on Friday at Servette's Charmilles Stadium, Senderos said: "The English develop a fighting spirit in players and that is the reason I want to play at Arsenal.

"In England football is a religion. I think playing in the Premier League will allow me to develop better as a player."

Arsenal are currently hot on the heels of Phillipe Mexes, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Argentine International Campugliano, Croatian starlet Nico Cranjcar, Stephane Dalmat and Recber Rustu.

Stephane Dalmat linked with Arsenal

Arsenal have been linked with a move for £5m-rated French midfielder Stephane Dalmat, who is currently out of favour at Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old former France Under-21 has never been a consistent fixture in the Inter team since his move to Serie A from Paris Saint-Germain in April 2001. He now appears to be surplus to requirements at the San Siro, hence Hector Cuper's decision to let him leave.
But Arsene Wenger recently said he did not envisage entering the transfer market when the window reopens in January, instead prepared to stick with what he has for the remainder of the campaign.
Should Wenger in fact be preparing a shock signing then it is unlikely to be a midfielder who he swoops for, given that that is the one area of the team where he has top-class cover in every position.
Meanwhile, another reported Arsenal target, Fenerbahce's Turkey international goalkeeper Rustu Recber, has revealed he made a mistake by turning down a move to England in the past.
Recber snubbed an offer to leave his homeland for Manchester United last season, but now wants to come to the Premiership. With his contract set to expire in the summer, the Istanbul club are reportedly prepared to accept a cut-price £3m for him.
